These days you hear people all around you talking about how bad the economy is and how high the prices are getting. It seems like everywhere I go they are talking about the price of gas and how they can’t afford to go anywhere.

It can be a real challenge to keep ourselves in an abundant energy when we are surrounded by people who are stuck in poverty consciousness. For sure it is a challenge but we must take the bull by the horns and get control, otherwise, we will be sucked into the energy of poverty consciousness.

So how do we shift our energy to a better one when others are moaning and whining about how bad things are?

Try these ideas:

  • Listen to audios on abundance and motivation. A couple examples I use are Jim Rohn, Michael Losier and T. Harv Eker’s “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind.”
  • Listen to success music. If you do a Google search you will find some.
  • Notice things you already have that you are grateful for, then express gratitude. Writing in a gratitude journal is a really powerful activity because it gets you focusing on abundant things.
  • Listen to Think Right Now audios. I love these audios. I have almost all of them.
Here are a few of my favorites:

Another way to increase abundance energy vibration is to use EFT to shift to an abundant attitude.

I often hear new distributors say they are afraid they will make a mistake or they are afraid they will say something wrong when talking to prospects. Many experience fear of failure so they don’t ever really get started.

Fear of failure is often what paralyzes a person in their network marketing business or any other project they want to have success in.

Failure is actually not such a bad thing. Think about Thomas Edison. He is often brought up as an example of how we can view failure as stepping stones as we make progress.

When asked about the frustration of all his failures he responded, “I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward…I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

It’s not the failure but how we react to failure that determines whether or not we will achieve success. Are we going to learn from each failure and make the necessary adjustments and keep moving forward towards our goals?

Let me make one thing clear. I am not talking about jumping from one mlm program to another. I am talking about making adjustments within the program you are working and stay with that program until you are successful.

In the beginning as you are learning to communicate about your business, you make a lot of mistakes and you don’t feel comfortable. Sometimes you feel like an utter failure, but practice makes perfect. As you get better at your business, you actually love what you are doing. People see this and are drawn to you. It is a cycle of success that grows with time and practice.

The same goes for the various types of advertising you use. There are a lot of factors that effect what kind of ads you will use. One example is direct mailing with postcards. In the beginning of building my business I did a lot of postcard mailing. I have had great success using this method. I have also seen distributors in my group fail miserably at it. The biggest reason they failed is because they mailed a batch or two of postcards and didn’t get the results they wanted so the quit. No testing different ads no adjustments were made, they just quit!

Here’s another good quote from Thomas Edison: “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”

Success requires failure, making adjustments and finding the way that works for YOU.

As the great Joe Schroeder says it, “You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.”

So, get out there and fail, knowing that you are one step closer to success. The only real failure is giving up.
