Hi. My name is Melodie Kantner. I have over 16 years of experience in the network marketing industry. I am currently a top leader and earning a full time income in a company that I have been with for 14 years.

When I found out my good friend Diane Hochman was getting back into network marketing, I knew I wanted to be involved.

Diane and I are sort of kindred spirits. There are lots of reasons but basically we both walked very similar paths as we were developing ourselves as leaders and building our businesses. We both did it our own way using marketing techniques that get people to come to us. We both have a mission to help other people experience the freedom we have experienced because of network marketing.

When I began my career as a network marketer, I was in dire financial straits. My husband was in bad health and our income had dropped substantially. It was so bad during that time bill collectors were calling almost every day and the lights and the phone had been shut off.

Ever hear the expression, Robbing Peter to pay Paul? Well that is what we were doing. Major juggling just to keep the lights on and a roof over our head. We nearly lost our house to foreclosure but somehow we managed to get through without losing it.

If it weren’t for my parents help during that time I don’t know we would have managed. It was during all that, I began building my network marketing career.

My Mom is actually the one who introduced me to network marketing. I just knew this could be an answer to our major financial problems. I was right. Network marketing has not only been a solution to our financial situation, it has also created a life of freedom. Not only financial freedom but time. The freedom to come and go as I please. To work when I want to.

It’s a wonderful life.

These days, with the economy the way it is, many people are going through tough financial struggles like we were having way back then. I know how that feels. I know how much pain and anger you can feel when you don’t know how to fix it.

I also know the feeling of hope. That is the feeling when you start your business and you know this could be the solution.

Yes, it CAN be the solution but it’s entirely up to you. You have keep your WHY in front of you EVERY DAY. Do the work, learn from people who have been there and done it. Be persistent, be consistent.

I am now building Numis Network alongside what I was already doing. I see this as an opportunity to partner with Diane Hochman and help as many people as we possibly can to build a life of FREEDOM through real marketing skills.

Anyway, here’s a few more things you might want to know about me.

I am 52 years young, married for 33 years to the same wonderful man. His name is Mark. We have one child. Well, he’s a big 30 year old named Brandon. Oh, by the way, Brandon has followed my footsteps building and is a full time network marketer and leader. Brandon is married to a lovely woman named Hollie.

I have one pet. He is my office buddy, a green parrot named Barney that you will often see on my shoulder. He is named after Barney Fife of Andy Griffith fame. You are probably wondering why I chose that name. Well, we happened to be in a pet store and Barney was really hamming it up. He was hilarious as he was flirting and showing off. He clearly loves attention. The store employees were telling how he had figured out the locks and kept letting himself out of his cage.

When I first saw him he was out of his cage and pacing on a shelf above everyone’s heads. Squawking and pacing. Once he got on my shoulder it was all over. I couldn’t resist so we brought him home. He is 25 years old now and a noisy part of our family.

I was born and raised in Michigan but we currently live in a VERY rural area in Southeast Ohio. Did I say rural?? We can’t even get a cell signal out here. No cable, no DSL. Thanks to satellite I can connect with you. ;)

I am the oldest sibling of 4. I have 2 brothers and a sister.

I am also an award winning artist. My specialties are pencil drawing, watercolor painting, and glass enamel jewelery design. Mark and Brandon are also artists. Mark is a photographer, sculptor and glass flameworked beads. Brandon is an award winning artist and musician. Brandon plays the piano and his wife Hollie plays the guitar.

Anyway, those are a few interesting details about myself and my family. I think it is good to get to know people when we are building a business together. That way you know we are real people just like you.
