I love that expression. It was one Zig Ziglar often used. Zig was one of my earliest personal development favorites. I wore out many audio cassettes of Zig Ziglar and Jim Rohn. I spent hours upon hours listening to tapes of any motivational trainer, anything to do with marketing or success. Listening in my car, in my office and anywhere I could squeeze in a little more listening.

Your level of income is directly related to the amount of time and, yes, even money you spend training. Professional network marketers take their education seriously. They seek out training, they attend events and they aren’t afraid to invest in their education.

The professional network marketer chooses training over hours of time wasted with television. Instead of the latest tunes they are listening to the latest training in marketing and other things related to their industry. Sharpening their skills and becoming more comfortable doing things the average person is too unmotivated to do.

Times are urgent. The economy isn’t getting better. It’s time to kick it up a notch and get serious. There is a balance. We do need some play time but now is the time to take a look at what we are doing in our business.
