Okay, so WHO am I?


Let me give you some clues. Exactly WHO IS ME?


I am your constant companion.


I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden.


I will push you onward or drag you down to failure.


I am completely at your command.


Half of the things you do you might as well turn
over to me and I will do them – quickly and correctly.


I am easily managed – you must be firm with me.
Show me exactly how you want something done
and after a few lessons, I will do it automatically.


I am the servant of great people, and alas, of all failures as well.


I MAKE GREAT PEOPLE—-That is a CLUE.


Those who are great, I have made great.


Those who are failures, I have made failures.


I am not a machine though, however . . .


I work with the precision of a machine
plus the intelligence of a person.


You may run me for profit or run me for ruin -
it makes no difference to me.


Take me, train me, be firm with me, and
I will place the world at your feet.


Be easy with me and I will destroy you.

Your MINDSET is the Number 1 Secret to Success

Systems and training are important, that is true but, all the systems, tools and training mean nothing if you don’t work on your ATTITUDE. You ARE what you THINK. Success comes from within. Your MINDSET, the way you think and speak will entirely effect your success in this business. If you want to earn $10,000.00 a month in your business, it’s not the systems that make it happen. You MUST become the kind of person who will make $10,000.00 a month.


As the Great Joe Schroeder says, “You’ll never out earn the words you use.” If you are saying words like, “I’m broke” or “I can’t afford that,” you are ruining your possibilities for success.
It would be better to say, “I choose not to spend money on that today.”


Another area to watch the things you say is in relation to your business or your prospects. Some examples of things I have heard distributors say:

“The products are too expensive.”
“I have to BUY SOMETHING in order to qualify for a check?”
“I can’t get anyone interested in the products.” (or business)
“No one wants to go on autoship.”
“No one in my downline wants to do anything.”
“I don’t want to sell anything.”
“I don’t want to call people on the phone.”
“I don’t have time for conference calls.”
“I don’t have time for training.”
“I can’t afford to go to convention.”
“What are you going to do to help me build my business?”


Man! I could go on and on for hours naming all the success busting things people have said to me over the past 15 years.


I once had a distributor in my group who told me there were no people in her area who were interested in natural health products. She lived in Minneapolis Minnesota. Wow!! What a blanket statement prejudging a huge group of people. Well that was over 12 years ago, needless to say, that distributor is long gone.


Funny side note, that same distributor was a self proclaimed network marketing expert who published her own network marketing magazine. Get this: The name of the magazine was called “Small Potatoes.” What a horrible name for a business success magazine.


Mindset and the words you use are so important. You should be working on yourself more than you work on your business. Success is all in the MIND. Leaders are READERS! I have literally read hundreds of books in my 15 years in this industry.
Hey, that gives me an idea. Maybe sometime I should put a list online of success books I have read.


Besides reading books, listening to audios and participating in conference calls can be a big help in becoming the kind of person who is able to be successful. Find successful people, hang around with them and learn as much as you can from them. Join a Mastermind Group. The mastermind group I really recommend is the Million Mind March. The co founders are Joe Schroeder and Diane Hochman.
