I have changed so much in over the past few years but lately the changes have been HUGE. I attribute a lot of these changes to things I have been learning from Joe Schroeder and Diane Hochman in the Million Mind March.

Joe says, “Your mess is your message.” I hadn’t thought much about how much my past was effecting my business but today I am looking back and thinking about where I came from and what changes were necessary to become a successful leader in network marketing. If you only knew what I have overcome to get here.

Things that happen to us as a child shape the people we become. Just one example from my childhood: At around age nine I was abducted by a stranger. I was lucky and was able to escape but it left scars that would effect me in everything I did from that point on that made me fearful and subconsciously protecting myself by blending in and not doing anything that would put me in the spotlight. It wasn’t safe to be visible.

In Network Marketing, if you want a full time income, it is necessary to become a leader of a large group of people. A leader is visible. As someone who, for many years had been protecting myself, being a leader was really scary. In the beginning I had a wrestling: How to proceed in this business, KNOWING I must be a leader if I want success. One thing I knew for sure, I wanted to work from home and have FREEDOM. So I proceeded forward knowing I would have to find my way around the fears from the past.

The reason I tell you this is because I want you to know that it is possible to overcome emotional blocks and build a business that will result in freedom for yourself and your family.

One thing I knew is that I had to work on my MINDSET, so I listened to audios and read books.
Every day reading and listening to audios was a HUGE help to overcoming the emotional blocks that would hold me back. Jim Rohn was my favorite. I literally wore out my tapes and had to replace them.

I learned many things along the way that I wish I had known years ago. Several years ago I learned how to use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). There are many ways you can use EFT to get past things that are holding you back in your business as well as other areas of your life.

When you are working through some of these issues can be an ongoing process. You’ll have times where you make progress for a while then you might coast along for a while. I think we all have times where we seem to be stuck.

Recently I have been going through another transitional phase. A while back I joined the Million Mind March founded by Joe Schroeder and Diane Hochman. I greatly appreciate the things I am learning at The Million Mind March where I am learning to become
become Ten Feet Tall And Bullet Proof.

I am making dramatic changes and I am doing things I would never have considered doing.

I am feeling free, confident and powerful.

Today I saw some new photos uploaded on my MLM company’s Flickr account. At the Corporate Office, they were having a food fight in front of the office building.

Employees and executives participating together having a blast.

The fun they were having made me think about our business.

One very important element in your business is to make it FUN. It is true that we want to take our business seriously but it is imperative that we have fun while doing that.

Your success depends on it.

You won’t stick with it if you aren’t enjoying what you do.

Having fun and radiating happiness is one way to make the Law of Attraction work in your favor.

As you talk to people and build your business, demonstrate that you are really having a good time. People can tell if you really are enjoying what you do. When you radiate joy and happiness, people want to know what you are doing. Why are you so happy?

When you are having fun and enjoying what you do, it helps you stick with it. Especially in the beginning when you are just beginning to build the business.

As the years pass with your company, you will accumulate experiences that you can share with your downline. I have have been taking pictures of some of my fun times in this business and put together a Team Gallery so distributors and people interested in our business can see what good times we have. I got the idea from Art Jonak. He has a Network Marketing Lifestyle Gallery I have been following for years. In my early days I went to Art’s web site to get a motivational boost whenever I would have a down time. I still go there often to see what fun Art and his friends are having.

If you aren’t having fun in your business, re-think that! Go out and MAKE IT FUN!!!
