Are You Thinking About Buying Network Marketing Leads?
Before you spend money on network marketing or business opportunity leads, watch my video. Over the years I have had my eyes opened up about how many leads companies are nothing more than crooks.
Hey, if you want to try out MyLeadSystemPro, you can take a 14 day trial. I’m sure you will be as impressed as I am. With 16 years in the network marketing industry, I have seen a lot and very little impresses me.

Hi Kyle,
Thanks.
Melodie
Great video. I have purchased leads over the years and when working with some other people in my business noticed we had a lot of the same leads. Yes you need to research where you get them don’t just take someones word or because your upline says too!!!
Have a Great Day

Thanks Chester. Yes. Definitely researching is a must.
Hi Jermaine,
I looked at Freshinterviews. It looks ok but it’s hard to tell by looking at a web site. They can say anything on there.
I agree. It’s best not to spend money on leads, but rather meet people online or offline and build trusting relationships with them. Another way of getting good leads and not having to pay for them is setting up a blog site, like this one, and having an opt in email address so that we know that the people that get our blog posts are WANTING to get our messages because they want to know what we have to say.

Hi Mirdza,
Yes. Setting up a blog is a huge help in generating leads.
Too bad these people selling leads prey on the people that need business building skills the most. Hopefully they will find the advantages of stress free marketing. Network marketers really have to develop relationships with their prospects by the email leading to a phone consultation so they can be a solid customer who buys every month. Nobody wants to know people who haven’t attracted them as a lead and it is very frustrating for the network marketer who buys this junk.

Hi Rick,
I agree the ones who need help most are the ones that are getting scammed by bad leads companies. The leads you generate yourself are best.
I bought leads many years ago – out of the thousands I recall two being good. Don’t waste your money.

Hi Tim,
I know I bought some bad leads myself in the past. Now I generate my own from advertising, both free and paid. I am with Leaders Club and get some leads there but mostly I am with them for the advanced leadership training.
This is really good advice. Buying leads is very tricky. You really don’t know how old they are or if the information is even valid anymore. I agree that you should do your research even before you think about going this route.

Hi Tim.
For sure, research, research and research some more!
8 years!!! that is horrendous. i have never even paid attention to mail leads at all. When I did an MLM a few years back however I did purchase old leads and reused leads. I twas a great experience for practice but not a great ROI for the investment. I think that sometimes people develop businesses forgetting that they should be in a place of service rather than a place of money grabbing.

Yes. I am stunned every time I get biz opp mail for Brandon. Some of these leads companies are nothing more than scammers.
Hi Melodie,
I haven’t actually purchased leads and suppose I don’t plan to do so but am glad to be reminded of the pitfalls. It just seems like too long a shot at getting any quality leads. Thanks.

I have never found unqualified leads very helpful My target client is so narrow that I have almost always needed a referral. I need CEO’s in manufacturing who want to work in China. So I am skeptical about this industry. Sounds like most of the comments are too.

Hi Gary,
Yea. I am very skeptical about leads companies. I think the best leads are the ones we generate ourselves.
Hi Melodie,
Great information in your video!
There are so many dishonest people that are taking personal information and selling them.
My personal team has had massive success purchasing high quality leads. I have to agree with you about doing your research before you decide to purchase.
Or on the other hand, create you own!
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Tommy,
Yes. There are several good leads companies. The trick is for inexperienced people to find them.
I love the way you have caught the lie and informed with facts. It’s easy to generalize with no information, and it’s a good thing to recommend caution and research. Some suppliers are probably better than others, but your illustration shows the importance of separating the good from the bad. Since many folks are probably not sure how to distinguish the good from the bad, I wonder what cues or guidance there might be?

Melodie,
Thanks for shining the light on this scam. Because of the nature of my business, relationship counseling, I would be very wary of buying leads to begin with, but your video certainly makes me consider it as a last resort.
Good work,

Hi Melodie,
I have never purchased leads, although I always hear people discuss it! I had never considered what it meant when i get strange mail, either for my children or for the people who live here 20 years ago! Talk about a bad lead!
This is really important to consider, as doing business can be expensive and the money that we spend must be worthwhile.
Thanks for sharing this valuable insight!

Hi Nancy,
Yes. I have been getting mail from Brandon for all these years but it only hit me recently. These are business opportunity mailings. People bought his name as a lead. 20 years. Wow. That IS a bad lead!
Hi Melodie,
thanks for sharing this with everyone as it is a very important topic. There are so many cons out there when it comes to leads but the truth is that with people like yourself and others we can educate new network marketers on how to aviod these pitfulls.
The other option is to attract leads to you and that way you control what type of people you will get.
Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

I agree with attracting your own leads. That’s the only way to know for sure you are getting real leads.
Melodie,
I totally agree with you, that there are many companies selling (and reselling) their leads over and over again, even though they say they only release them to two people maximum. Yeah right! I hope this opens up the eyes of network marketers to be wise in purchasing their leads.

It really gets me steamed to know they resell over and over. So many newbies get discouraged and give up when they see no results from their efforts. Bad leads add to the problem big time!
Hi, Melanie,
What a wonderful post. I believe we all know what you are talking about. Some people are wasting a ton of money on ineffective or dead leads. The best thing marketers can do is generate their own leads. Brand yourself as an expert, lead with value, and people will find you. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing that information and you’re so right on. I personally only recommend anyone purchasing leads if they want the practice of calling people and even then, I caution them to not expect the same reception as those you generate yourself. Lead generation, figure it out for yourself is my moto.

Hi Michael,
Yes. Caution is really needed in buying leads. The ones we generate are best.
Being able to drive traffic to your optin pages and build your own leads is the best targeted leads you are going to get. They opted in to your list and not you just cold calling them. Learn the skill to do it and you’ll never even think about buying leads again.
