I always encourage distributors to use several means of prospecting. You need to get your message out to LOTS of people each and every week.
One idea I like and have used successfully is to put a note or a drop card in the envelope while paying bills. Real people are opening those envelopes and are seeing whatever is in the envelope. Why not add a drop card with a note.
Here is an idea for a note that could be included:
My name is Melodie Kantner. I specialize in teaching people how they can earn money from home. I am always looking for motivated people who would like to make a difference in their lives and would be willing to learn how to do it.
I don’t know if you are that person or if you know someone who is, but I wanted to attach this card and ask if you would pass the note and the card to someone you know who is looking to make more money and improve their life.
There is a web site and a phone number on the card where they can request information.

Use a drop card rather than a business card. I recommend stapling the card to the note so it doesn’t get lost.
Putting drop cards in with the bills are just one way of using them. There are loads of ways to use them. They are one of my favorite ways to advertise. Even while on vacation I pepper them along the route wherever I go.
Why not add this simple technique to your arsenal of marketing tools.

Blogging is an inexpensive easy way to get your information out to people. If you have a replicated web site with your network marketing company, blogging is even more important. You can link to your replicated site in your blog.
There are several free blog tools available. One is www.blogger.com With Blogger, you easily set up and be blogging in no time.
Blog about things you are experiencing with your company and products, things you learn that could help your team build their business and company news, news articles that apply to your business or product.
Blogs that offer information that people can use and benefit from will be most successful. Offer help that people will be able to use.
Be consistent and regular about posting things to your blog. One benefit of blogging is building rapport and credibility. As people get to know you, they will want to get involved in whatever company you are with.
Subscribe to things your upline publish so you can get ideas of things to post in your own blogs. Get permission to repost things they have published. When you quote someone, be sure to give them credit or link to them.
