Consistency is one of the most important qualities for success in anything, even more so in network marketing. Far too often we see people hopping from one network marketing company to another. In the beginning they are excited and motivated but it doesn’t take long and they are discouraged. People are so focused on wanting success right now that they aren’t willing to focus and consistently building their business over time. When success hasn’t come in a month or two, they figure it’s the company and they move on to another opportunity. This is such a HUGE mistake.

You need to stick with it and be consistent. Find the few things that work for you in building your business and do them every day.

Successful network marketers do something for their business EVERY DAY! Even when you are on vacation.

Or how about when you are working at your regular job? I have often had distributors tell me they don’t have time to work on their business since they have to work full time. I say, “Wonderful! How many people you cross paths with every day! Do you have your 30 second commercial ready?”

Successful marketers are in marketing mode every day, everywhere. We don’t build our business in spurts, working for a little while, then neglecting our business for days or weeks.

What about your email? Do you check email at least once a day? I have had distributors who say they are serious about building their business but they don’t check email.

Are you subscribed to newsletters from your upline and other success coaches? Are you consistently learning and sharing with prospects and downline team?

Do you keep your contact information current on your web site and your marketing materials? This is another one that always amazes me.

Are you consistently using your company’s products? It seems funny to have to say that but, over the years I have been amazed at the number of distributors who aren’t really using the products. If your company has a lot of products, why not try a new product every month. Become a product of the product.

Decide what you are going to do – Set Goals
Work consistently toward those goals every day.
Those goals should become good habits.

Network Marketing is the best business to be in for personal growth because your business can only grow to the same level you do.

That quote is soooo true. In any business, you need to learn and study in order to be good at what you do.  Do you have a library card? You can find a lot of wonderful books and audios in the library that will help build a success mindset.

We all have areas of strengths and weaknesses.  You are responsible for your own success in this industry.

In the beginning, I had a fear of being a leader of a large group of people. I realized that, to be successful in network marketing, you MUST be a leader. If I was to have any success in my business, I had to face that fear and overcome it. I began studying successful leaders and what they did for success. Then I applied what I learned.

No matter what area of the business you feel weaker in, press forward and face your fears. There is, no doubt, someone else who has overcome the same obstacle and you can learn from them.

Neglect is like an infection. Left unchecked it will spread throughout our entire system of disciplines and eventually lead to a complete breakdown of a potentially joy-filled and prosperous human life.

Not doing the things we know we should do causes us to feel guilty, and guilt leads to an erosion of self-confidence. As our self-confidence diminishes, so does our level of activity. And as our activity diminishes, our results inevitably decline. And as our results suffer, our attitude begins to weaken. And as our attitude begins the slow shift from positive to negative, our self-confidence diminishes even more…

Therefore, if you want to reverse the downward spiral of neglect and become rich, powerful, and sophisticated, my suggestion is this: The next time there is a choice between, “easy to do…” and “easy not to do…” choose the easy to do basic business-building activities that will allow you to create the life and lifestyle of your dreams!
